Life as I know it!

So here is a quick update of my life as I know it. A lot has changed since I last wrote on here. I sold The Dang :( Thats a sad face by the way. I moved from the Devonshire to an actual house and live with some pretty good roomies. I do have the best land lord ever. I started working at a Catering company called Utah Celebrations Catering and have the best boss in the whole wide world. I asked him to train me as a chef so he started working me in the kitchen and I picked everything up pretty fast. I am writing a book, thats right a book sucker! It is called True Principles of Friendship. The book is about making and keeping good friends, it is mainly a self help book or at least a self refining - self reflective kind of book to push you in the right direction in life. I keep writing it and was suppose to be done by now. Anyways this is just a brief review of my life in that past few months.

So what? I hate watching sports.

Alright! I am throwing it out there; I hate watching sports on TV.
"Dude, did you see USA vs. Algeria ???"
"Nope, I had better things to do."
"Are you insane?!? What could possibly be more important than watching The World Cup?!?"

Well let me give you a list of all the things that are more important to me than The World Cup:
1. sleep
2. exercise
3. reading
4. watching a great movie
5. girls
6. cleaning my room
7. reading the scriptures
8. more girls
9. hanging out with friends
10. work... (meh)
11. visiting my sisters
12. babysitting my nephews

22. picking up chicks in The Dang (it happens all the time)

30. hang with roommates

So that is just thirty things I would rather be doing than watching sports on TV. Seriously it bugs me to watch a bunch of guys run around and get mad at the other team because they bumped into each other or made a goal.

So lets do something else, anything else.

Moved out!

So for Memorial Day I moved out of my old house for a much better place. I was kinda nervous at first on how my new roommates were going to be. It should be noted that the main reason i moved out of my old house was because of the lack of really great roommates. One guy was good, one guy was alright, and the other guy... well we wont go there.

BUT I moved to Devonshire #10 it was quite awesome actually! We all got along quite well and even had roommate prayer before bed. The rest of the day went alright. My ward for FHE had an outside movie night. It was a great movie. I was in charge of car pooling everyone from the church house to Bro. Simisters house for the movie. Tragically everyone showed up bent on driving themselves to the house anyway (which only means they had interior motivations or expectations on who they wanted to ride with or even drive to the movie night) I was fortunate enough I guess to drive one girl up there, I didn't want to show up to the movie night empty handed so to speak after they put me in charge of getting everyone up there and back. She did not even ride back with me. Seriously now? There is this other friend of mine that I saw there, and there must be something bad happening between us, every time I see her she is hostile about something dumb and I like her less and less. I keep my mouth shut when it comes to my opinions around her, especially when she asks outright. (sigh) Good heavens...

I feel like I'm being strung out kinda, like no one is giving me straight answers, and that alot of girls have double motives. Why are girls Psycho? Why are guys retarded?

Status Report: Work is boring. The Dang lives on! I am sick. I am moving to Devonshire this Friday. I wish I had someone awesome to talk to during work. My Mom was worried that I injested drugs second hand... yeah. I slept well last night a whole 8 1/2 hours worth! I am trying to get subsidised student loans. BYU rocks you hard! I dont have romantic interests right now. I am too nice sometimes. My nephews are awesome. I work way far away. Gas is expensive. Credit Cards are of the Devil! I have good friends. I have an awesome ward. I have an awesome truck, duh. I bought 2 awesome DVDs last night. I hate profanity, alot. It is awesome to be me.

Last night I watched a pretty awesome movie- OK side tangent, I like watching movies alot. After I am done watching then I will break down the movie in my head and take meaningful lessons out of it. I will mostly look at the characteristics of people and ask myself if i have those or not, or if I make those mistakes or not etc. Movies are so great. I know it's kinda a waste of time when the sun is shining and its 75 degrees outside, so i stay up too late watching a good movie- if i don't have homework or something like that. So- back to last nights movie! I watched The Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It was PG and hilarious. It was about this kid who was starting middle school and he wants to be popular. His friend in the main character's eyes was very un-cool. The friend did not care at all, he was happy being himself and being nice to everyone. In the end everyone accepts the friend and leaves the main character in the dirt. (he was kinda a jerk sometimes) It made me think.... Life really is about being yourself and being nice and helpful to everyone, and when you do that everything goes great for ya and people accept you. If people don't accept you after you do those things they are retarded and don't deserve your attention, so it really does not matter. I have thought this way for a long time now, and I try to be the nice guy who helps everyone. Hopefully I am doing OK

Human Character

At my work I am a Portuguese translator, I take Portuguese calls and sometimes explain their meaning to my supervisor. If I am not taking calls I am answering Emails about Eurail Train Passes. It's not the best job I have had, but it is needful at the moment. I get paid and I have down time to do homework. There are many different groups of workers that take calls for different companies. They just moved the Apple team right next to me. They take calls about rebates and refunds for Ipods and Laptops. I hate the fact that they moved here. There is a few of them that have no moral behavior that conform to true character of a man or woman. One of them is a woman, and it is really painful to listen to her cuss all day long. It makes me think if anyone finds that attractive at all. I think it is gross. But light attracts light, knowledge knowledge, etc. Filth attracts filth, darkness to darkness etc. I can see others around me start to chuckle and grin at what she says all day. Uggh really now? They think that's even O.K.? Human Character...

The Dang!

The Dang is my truck, it is quite possibly the greatest thing on Earth. He does not have to slow down for speed bumps or dips! He just roars right through them! Its pretty funny sometimes when people are in the back seat and I'm ripping through a dip at 45 mph. Everyone in the back seat bounce up and even hit the top of their heads on the roof of the car. The Dang is a good cruising truck, taking him up the canyon with all the windows down and music blaring is quite possibly the greatest ecstasy I know, especially when you have your greatest friends with you. I am sad to part with him sometime near the future, I need to sell him. The Dang is a chick magnet! There is no way any other sports car could compare! The Dang is solid, were talking a nice 5.8 cylinder V8 engine! I dont have any idea what all that means, but I know he's solid! The Dang has class, he prefers to listen to classical 89.5 on the fm radio. All in all the The Dang is a hero.... he will live on forever!!!!
